CMA Conservatory
CMA Conservatory is an intensive practicum in Music, Theater, Purpose & Intention, and the Arts for High School students in 9th – 12th grade.
Students involved in the Conservatory program benefit from focused and specific classes in their chosen interest area as well as smaller class size, individual attention, coaching and mentoring.
CMA Conservatory offers a distinctive approach to the arts by requiring each student to participate over the course of their four years in the Purpose & Intention Series, while offering a broad approach to arts history, various arts disciplines and business practices. We aim to not only teach students the arts, but to assist them in gaining an understanding of how business moves art forward. Thereby discovering ways to create, through entrepreneurship, a sustainable career through their craft; or to obtain gainful employment within the performing and fine arts industry in general. We want our students to understand their purpose and know themselves before they go out and interact with the often-controversial world of the arts. Gaining understanding enables us to interact with the culture but not accommodate it. This approach sets CMA and our programs apart from other arts programs while providing a safe and supportive environment for arts instruction.
Graduates from CMA Conservatory will have a greater opportunity of receiving arts related scholarships to a variety of colleges due to detailed and proficient portfolios and auditions using materials and instruction received while attending CMA.
